Updated: Mar 26, 2021

Episode graphic: Teaching Tidbits #7: Ashley with Hands-on Activity Book Recommendations

In this Unabridged Teaching Tidbits episode, Ashley talks about incorporating more hands-on activities into the classroom (or at home), and she shares three of her favorite books for making it easier to find and do activities with kids. Ashley shares two books by Asia Citro, creator of Fun at Home with Kids. Ashley talks about 150+ Screen-Free Activities for Kids: The Very Best and Easiest Playtime Activities from FunAtHomeWithKids.com! and The Curious Kid's Science Book: 100+ Creative Hands-On Activities for Ages 4-8. Then, she shares about Kimberly McLeod's Easy Fun and Easy Crafting with Recycled Materials: 60 Cool Projects that Reimagine Paper Rolls, Egg Cartons, Jars and More!. Ashley also mentions supplies it helps to have available for activities, especially these liquid watercolors. These books are great resources for teachers and moms, and any one of them would be a great gift option!
